This exciting programme of summer events celebrating rural skills and the local landscape have been funded through the National Landscape's Farming in Protected Landscapes Programme.
The events are all taking place at Lower Lythe Farm near Lowgill and are looking at traditional crafts such as stone walling, stone carving and shoe making, whilst also exploring ideas around mortality and our place in the landscape.
Refreshments at the farm also available.

Walk on 20th August - there is a car parking available at the Old School car park in Lowgill, please email Esther Nimmo to book a place on the walk.
Feel free to bring along cake or snacks to share :)
The car park at the Old School / Church can also be used by walkers visiting the walling project. Donations in the wall box in church are welcome.
