About us:
Welcome to Middle Flass Lodge. We are situated in the peaceful Ribble Valley at the heart of the Forest of Bowland. Surrounded by beautiful open countryside, abundant with many species of birds and wildlife, this is the perfect place for anyone to relax and unwind.The Lodge was originally a barn and cow byre which we converted into beautiful accommodation with a restaurant in 1996. We are the owners, Joan and Nigel, and we look forward to making your stay an enjoyable one.

The Guest House has undergone a professional review of its policies to ensure that we know how energy is best conserved. We pride ourselves, and have done for the past fifteen years, on using local and seasonal produce whenever possible.'

What's green about ....:
While championing local, seasonal produce in the restaurant you will notice that we favour the more traditional style of food presentation and do not use individual portion control packaging for milk & preserves – this saves on consumption of both energy and materials. Around the garden we have introduced water butts to collect the rain water for watering plants and trees and dirty boots! For guests we provide recycling bins for depositing newspapers, bottles and cans. All going some way to helping reduce our green footprint.
