About The Gathering Fields
Helen, who runs the Gathering Fields has been a holistic therapist for over 20 years and is trained in Ayurveda, Yoga and flower essence therapy and encapsulates nature in all aspects of her practise. The Gathering Fields is a place for peace, wildness, space, and learning, taking the countryside back to the roots. Alongside the centre there is a working farm of 250-acres, however Helen tends not to focus her visits on the animal side of farming but does use the wildflower meadows for her sessions. The centre takes a holistic approach to farming and land management, where health and well being are at the very centre of the focus.

Activities:
Due to the nature of Helen's passions, the educational visits are based around the following activities and themes:
- Forest focus
- Yoga and sound
- Forest bathing
- Nature based activities – arts, crafts and using natural materials
- Pottery
- Wildflower Meadow conservation
Facilities:
- TEACHING SPACE – Helen has 2 areas for teaching, one is an indoor converted barn space with a kitchen area and the other is an outdoor large wooden shelter perfect for summer days.
- PARKING – Suitable for minibuses and coaches
- TOILETS – 2 compost toilets and one normal
- ACCESSIBILITY –

- RESIDENTIAL facilities – The centre has a bunk barn which sleeps 8 as well as space for approximately 10 camping pitches, and 2 showers.
