The Sabden Tramper is owned by the Forest of Bowland, with thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The service here in Sabden village is run by local volunteers and is linked to an easy access trail around the fields and up to Churn Clough reservoir. You can download the route here on Outdoor Active and view it on the map in this pdf document. Please note that you can ONLY use the Tramper on this route: it is not insured to be taken anywhere else.
The Tramper is free to hire, although we do gratefully accept donations to help cover the running costs. You can make your donation to Champion Bowland - further information here or the direct donation page is here (please reference your donation 'Sabden Tramper, Pendle Hill Legacy Fund).
When you use a Tramper for the first time you will be given an induction on how to use the vehicle. You can also familiarise yourself with the Tramper before going out by watching our short Induction Film
